Meghan Markle’s awkward comment about Kate Middleton’s ‘fantasy’ revealed amid royal feud

Meghan Markle was close with Kate Middleton when she joined the Royal Family, but their relationship has since deteriorated.

The Royal Family feud reportedly escalated following Meghan and Prince Harry’s infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, a year after they stepped down as senior working royals.

The tension intensified following their controversial Netflix docuseries, in which they made several explosive allegations about Prince William and Princess Kate.

These claims have never been addressed by the Royal Family. Adding fuel to the fire, Harry’s memoir Spare provided his perspective on his wife’s relationship with Kate and disclosed private details about a disagreement between the two women.

He claimed that Kate allegedly “grimaced” when Meghan borrowed her lip-gloss and that the women had a dispute after the Duchess of Sussex accused William’s wife of having “baby brain” following the birth of Prince Louis.

Interestingly, Meghan’s feelings about the Royal family, and specifically about Kate, were evident even before she joined The Royal Family.

In her now-inactive blog The Tig, Meghan mentioned Kate Middleton back in 2014, two years before she met Harry. Meghan recalled interviewing Princess Alia Al-Senussi, a member of Libyan royalty.

She said: “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power.” The former Suits star then discussed how Kate embodied the enduring fantasy of being a Princess.
