Meghan Markle Nicknamed ‘Duchess Difficult’ By US Staff Over Alleged ‘Tantrums’ & ‘Belittling People’

Meghan Markle has been nicknamed “Duchess Difficult” by staff due to reports of tantrums, harsh behavior, and poor decision-making alongside Prince Harry.

A recent report scrutinized the royal couple for their alleged treatment of staff, with the duke being called an “enabler” of his wife’s actions.

Allegations of bullying palace staff, leading to an inquiry, have also resurfaced amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s struggle with high staff turnover.

According to The Hollywood ReporterMeghan has earned the nickname “Duchess Difficult” from her staff in the US.

Sources claim that the former actress is known for “belittling people” and ignoring advice.

An insider criticized both Meghan and Harry, describing the duke as “charming” but an “enabler” of his wife’s behavior.

“She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice,” the source told the publication. “They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”

The allegations also paint Meghan as “relentless” and domineering, with claims that she “orders people around.”

“She’s absolutely relentless,” another source told THR. “She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have developed a reputation for high staff turnover, reportedly losing at least 18 employees since their 2018 wedding.

Since their move to California in 2020, at least nine key staff members have departed, including global press secretary Toya Holness and Meghan’s private secretary, Samantha Cohen.

The report follows the Daily Mail‘s recent revelation that Christine Weir Schirmer, Harry and Meghan’s PR adviser, quietly exited her role at the end of last year.
