Huddle up, team, we’ve got something of utmost importance to discuss. Prince William is keeping his beard. The royal originally debuted his facial hair over the summer, in a video with Kate Middleton congratulating Team Great Britain on their performance in the Olympics. It seems that he’s taken a liking to it, as he appeared unshaven at an appearance on Thursday.
William appeared at a private viewing of the “Homelessness: Reframed” exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London looking très casual by his own standards.
He wore a navy suit with a light-blue button-down underneath, with a few of the top buttons undone.
He paired his outfit with the beard, of course, which looks like it’s seen a couple days of growth but is nowhere near as long as it was in August. Is the baldness … working for him? He looks almost … rakish?
Look, I’m not the only person having these thoughts. In the comments of the August Instagram post, one woman wrote, “Wow! William looks hot ! Nice tan and lovely stubble! I’m middle aged woman! I’m flushing!” I think I agree with her. Over on X, Brits were fawning over their future monarch’s new look.
