Meghan Markle strikes back: Defends against “terrifying” dictator accusations

Meghan Markle, once a Hollywood actress best known for her role in Suits, became one of the most talked-about women in the world when she married Prince Harry in 2018. Joining the British royal family put her under an intense global spotlight, but it wasn’t long before Meghan and Harry made the bold decision to step back from their royal duties, a move now famously referred to as “Megxit.”

Since then, the couple has been living in Montecito, California, focusing on their own ventures, including media production and activism. However, Meghan has been at the center of ongoing controversies, especially regarding her treatment of staff.

Lately, there’s been chatter about a so-called “Sussex Survivors’ Club,” a term used to describe the 18 high-ranking staff members who have reportedly quit since Meghan and Harry’s departure from royal life.

Rumors of Meghan being difficult to work with have circulated for years. “Everyone’s terrified of Meghan. She’s absolutely relentless,” one source told The Hollywood Reporter. Another insider added, “She marches around like a dictator in high heels.”

Meghan has had enough of these character attacks and is reportedly ready to defend herself. “These rumors of her being ‘Duchess Difficult’ have plagued Meghan for years, and she’s tired of the character assassinations,” an insider told In Touch. Meghan’s frustration stems from allegations of bullying that surfaced in 2021, leading to a palace investigation.

Although the Sussexes denied the claims, the results of the investigation were never made public, leaving the situation murky. “It’s Meghan’s word against theirs,” the source continued, fueling speculation that she may soon share her side of the story.
